Sensor Technology

SensaVision uses LiDAR, camera, and radar sensors to collect, process, and analyze data. SensaVision collects data with roadside sensors with the ability to detect, classify, and track objects within the field of view. 

Deep Learning AI Models

​Our SensaVision software is computer vision AI software that leverages state-of-the-art deep learning models to provide 2D, 3D, and 4D perception. 
​
​To advance our technology, we continue to improve our deep learning model to provide high-accuracy detection of multiple objects and undergo field testing and validation. We do this through constant data collection and training. 
​
The software has a simple GUI interface for setting up and configuring event management zones and polylines and an easy plug-and-play to set up your deployment within minutes. ​

Real-Time Traffic and Safety Data

SensaVision collects and analyzes real-time roadway and traffic data. using roadside sensors to provide 2D and 3D real-world views of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, e-scooters, and other mobility and non-mobility object counts, tracking, and analytics.

The data is time series based, and personal identification information is not collected. The data is shared in raw feeds or processed JSON format.​

Computer Vision Software on the Edge

SensaVision EDGE is a secure IoT device with the SensaVision perception software embedded. The edge device is connected to a 4G/LTE network, sending real-time traffic and roadway safety data to the SensaVision web application and providing safety notifications. API integrations can connect to ITS applications, traffic control signals, roadside units, and other transportation applications. The edge solution is encrypted and hardened to detect tampering to lock down the device to protect our customer data.

Web Applications and Predictive Analytics

The SensaVision Web Application provides customers with data visualizations and location-specific traffic and safety data and analytics. The data is in real-time with the geometry of road data and traffic volume, giving users an interactive experience to optimize traffic flow. ​

LiDARs

Computer Vision Software

Sensagrate’s state-of-the-art perception software processes LiDAR, camera, and radar sensor data into unique data outputs. The SensaVision software provides object detection, classification, and tracking of vehicles, pedestrians (people), cyclists, e-scooters, and other mobility objects. SensaVision has a simple GUI interface for setting up and configuring event management zones and polylines and an easy, out-of-the-box, plug-and-play solution to set up your deployment within minutes.

Set up based on road type, captures GPS location, configures different traffic zones and polyline types for data analysis. 

Event Management
Create trigger zones to identify when a pedestrian crosses a crosswalk at a signalized intersection, designated crosswalks, or crosses into the street beyond the intersection or at mid-block. 

Zone Configurations
Identify sidewalks, curbs, and per lane of moving vehicles, which allows the capability of the system to understand events in defined high-risk areas. 

Polylines 
Set up polylines between the sidewalk and street to detect when and where pedestrians enter the road to cross the street off the sidewalk or curb. 

Web Application

The web application comes with interactive maps and predictive analytics traffic flow and safety analysis such as near-miss collisions. Our interactive tracking map allows customers to assess the movements of objects from the street, sidewalk, curb, crosswalk, and bike lanes.

​SensaVision Web Application provides customers with data visualizations with location-specific traffic and safety data and analytics. The data is in real-time with the geometry of road data and traffic volume giving users an interactive experience to validate and confirm traffic flow. Users can see data visualizations at a high level or drill down to see incidents, faults, volume, and predictions to adjust policy changes. 

Data Analytics

SensaVision provides data visualizations in a real-time dashboard in the web application and generates executive reports for your transportation committees and commissions. Generate visualizations from a time based on timestamps for per hour, per day, multiple days, weekly, monthly, and annual analysis. 

​SensaVision’s analytics provide practical recommendations about traffic and safety at intersections. Analytics includes safety data such as near-miss collision predictive analytics, metadata of traffic volume prediction, and Signal Phase and Timing (SPaT) analytics. Our safety countermeasures and clustering algorithms automatically generate recommendations and sort them out by priority.
